The ASCRIM study

The WICS-coordinated ASCRIM study (lead investigator Ceri Battle) took place in the latter half of 2017 and investigated the incidence of hair loss among critical care survivors using mixed methods. Ten Welsh critical care units participated and 202 patients were recruited. It was presented at the WICS summer scientific meeting, June 2018.
