WICS is pleased to be able to invite applications for a Welsh Intensive Care Society Research Award.

Research projects in either basic science or clinical research in a field relevant to intensive care may be supported - and research intended to allow acquisition of data to support a larger scale research grant application is encouraged.

Research awards are normally to a maximum of £2,000 per year (applications for greater amounts require direct communication with wicssecretary@gmail.com) - and there are separate awards for those from medical and from non-medical (nursing, clinical psychology and allied health professional) backgrounds. Applications are also welcome in support of publication costs for studies of particular relevance to Welsh critical care using this form.

Closing date for next round of submissions is 5 pm May 31st, 2024.
