Assessing frailty in critical care

The Frailty Assessment Reliability in ICU (FAR-ICU) study was conducted in 2017-18 and sought to evaluate the inter-rater reliability of frailty assessment in critically ill adults aged 60 years and over. It was coordinated by WICS (lead investigator Richard Pugh), recruiting 101 patients at six Welsh and one Scottish critical care unit. It has now been published in the journal, Anaesthesia.
